The shipyard, based in Tuzla, Istanbul, builds commercial vessels and superyachts up to 130 metres and has developed the Livia series together with Red Yacht Design. It initially comprises the flagship Livia 72 with 1,700 GT and twelve suites as well as the Livia 50 with less than 500 GT.
Both models pick up on the core values of lifestyle and sustainability, which were already introduced in 2024 with the 68-metre concept. On board is a hybrid drive system that also works with renewable energies.
At around 1,700 GT, the Livia 72 offers plenty of space with newly designed layouts. One highlight is the spa and wellness area. There is a garage for tenders and water toys in the bow, where the helicopter also lands.
The accommodation options were expanded to twelve guest cabins. "We made this decision to accommodate large families and groups of friends. Without compromising the feeling of spaciousness and intimacy," explains Cuneyt Okcu, Director of RMK Yachts.
The Livia 50, designed with less than 500 GT, distils the same DNA into less length. The eye-catcher here is an asymmetrically designed beach club with a pool positioned at the side. Cuneyt Okcu: "While the 72-metre model is a special platform for private use or charter operations, the 50-metre model embodies the same spirit in a more compact size."
Both models continue the flowing exterior lines of the LIVIA series. The interiors feature sustainable materials, light colours and organic textures that create a calm, timeless aesthetic.
RMK Yachts and Red Yacht Design are focussing on modern technologies, including hybrid drives, the integration of renewable energies and energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems. The aim is to reduce consumption and emissions without compromising on luxury.
"Livia has grown from a single concept to a complete series," says Fatih Sürekli, Managing Director of Red Yacht Design. "Extending the flagship to 72 metres and adding a 50-metre model allowed us to rethink space, lifestyle and sustainability."
RMK Yachts is currently finalising the possible construction slots, with the shipyard estimating delivery times of 24 months for the Livia 50 and 36 months for the Livia 72.
