Paragon 25 has a very special Scandinavian look. The deep V-hull gives the 25 particularly good rough water behaviour and should be hard to beat in its class.

What you don't build yourself, you buy. In keeping with this motto, the Swedish Nimbus Group has expanded its range with some very unusual boats.

The Nimbus managers chose the "neighbouring" boat manufacturer Paragon in Finland: they want to build boats from 25 to 43 feet, of which only two models actually exist so far: Paragon 31 and our test boat Paragon 25.

These are typical Scandinavian boats in terms of appearance: a deep V-hull on which sits an almost cubic superstructure that you can walk around. The test boat offers two to three berths below deck, seating, a table, toilet and galley.

As far as the workmanship is concerned, we start by criticising the sharp-edged plastic cut edge of the cabin roof. Otherwise, the plastic work on the exterior and interior is impressive. The woodwork is of a high standard.
