The motorboat is the perfect base for fishing: flexible to use and practical for equipment and prey.
Berlin will become a hotspot for the international fishing scene at the end of November. According to the organisers, the "Angelwelt" trade fair has seen a 20 percent increase in exhibitors compared to last year and is fully booked. Over 250 exhibitors will present the whole world of fishing on 18,000 square metres. The "Angelboot" theme areas are particularly interesting for boaters.

"Angelwelt": Europe's largest exhibition for fishing boats, motors and accessories

The centrepiece for boat fans this year is the "Angelboot" in Hall 2.2a. According to the trade fair organisers, this is "Europe's most comprehensive show for fishing boats, motors and accessories" - from compact inflatable boats to yachts.

The exhibition showcases practical solutions, innovative boat concepts and sustainable drive technologies. Renowned brands such as Allroundmarin, Alucrest, Alumacraft, AMT, Boost Boards, Brema, Crestliner, Finval, Fishsence, Float Plus, Gelex, HTC-Fishing, Kimple, Linder, Litime, Litron, Lund, Marine Boats, Native Watercraft, Nautig, Nitro, North Liner, Pantaenius, Polestar, Powerboat, Riverfox, Scandica, Silver, Sunvisor, Suzuki, Thor, Tracker, Terhi, Tinn-Silver, Tohatsu, Torqeedo, Vinka and Vizion.

On trend: fishing and boating

The "Angelboot" forms the bridge to the "Boot & Fun" trade fair and is aimed equally at leisure captains, outdoor fans and water sports enthusiasts. Here, interested visitors will find everything from technical equipment and modern motors to innovative accessories for the perfect fishing experience on the water.

Fishing and boating is a combination that is attracting more and more water sports enthusiasts. We recently reported in detail on how to get started with fishing, what to look out for and how to fish successfully from a boat (click here for our BOOTE fishing guide).
