CatanaGroup, known for their catamarans, is expanding its portfolio to include houseboats. The company is developing the office on the water under the new SEATY brand. The first models are to be presented at the boat show in La Rochelle in 2025.

Modular housing units for different purposes

The SEATY modules are designed as independent, habitable units. They can be used both as living space and for commercial purposes. The construction is based on CatanaGroup's catamaran technology, which promises stability and seaworthiness.

The houseboats are intended for use in sheltered waters such as bays, harbours, lakes, rivers or canals. They are intended as an alternative to conventional properties and are aimed at tourism companies, businesses and private individuals.

Production and technical details

The SEATY modules are manufactured at the CatanaGroup plant in Aveiro, Portugal. In this way, the company aims to ensure controlled and sustainable production.

CatanaGroup emphasises that the SEATY modules benefit from the company's many years of experience in the construction of catamarans. Particular attention is to be paid to safety, innovation and stability in the water.

The official launch of the first SEATY unit is planned for the boat show in La Rochelle in 2025. CatanaGroup's declared aim is to become the global market leader in the houseboat sector with SEATY.
