The Eli-Cat 65 combines two means of transport in one concept. Together with Catamarano, Amadio & Partners developed a cat with an integrated landing pad over a length of 20 metres. The design enables direct access by helicopter on the open sea without having to rely on the harbour or coast. The landing pad takes up 76 square metres of the total area and has a folding mast.
Comar is responsible for manufacturing the composite hull. The drive options range from 2 x 221 kW to 2 x 625 kW, and the fuel tank holds 6,000 litres. Eight guests spend the night on board, plus a panoramic living area.
The design can be configured as a support boat. In this variant, the Eli-Cat 65 offers space for crew, equipment and technical gear. Rescue services can use the vehicle for offshore operations, as can teams for helicopter and drone maintenance.
Access to other ships and platforms without a landing place is via a tender. Landing on the coast or in nearby harbours also remains possible. The mobile beach platform at the stern can be lowered and a folding crossbeam creates additional space. A telescopic table extends the usable area outside.
The 76 square metre helipad is located at the front and uses a special mast system. When retracted, the mast leaves the landing area free and can be raised if required. A bow ladder provides access from the water side.
The composite construction combines stability with moderate weight. The engine can be selected between 600 hp and 1,700 hp depending on requirements. This means that the vehicle can be adapted to a wide range of application profiles.
The cabins have private bathrooms and the central living area offers panoramic glazing. The outdoor areas include relaxation zones and a mobile stern platform. The foldable truss system creates additional usable space for spending time on deck. The interior can be configured in various colour combinations.
The room layout follows the catamaran principle with two hulls connected by the central superstructure. This area houses the main living area and the control centre.
