"It just makes sense" is the shipyard's motto. And indeed, for those who like to live as comfortably on the water as they do at home and want to explore the world with their boat, the trawler trimarans from Leen do indeed offer an optimum combination of seaworthiness and living space that cannot be found anywhere else on the market.
With the new Leen 50, the shipyard is expanding its programme downwards. With a fuel consumption of less than two litres per nautical mile (at a speed of 9 knots), the ship has a range of over 1500 nautical miles. The 23-tonne trimaran is powered by either two 110 or 150 hp engines or a hybrid drive (still under development).
Up to five cabins offer space for 10 people. The owner's cabin is located in the large deckhouse and has its own deck exit. The superstructure can be completely covered with solar panels and, in conjunction with a watermaker, makes it possible to remain completely self-sufficient at anchor for long periods without having to start a generator.
The first boats should be afloat by the end of 2023. The price for the basic model is 899,000 euros (plus VAT)
