No sooner said than done "The catamaran is an ideal platform for electric drives," says Guy Marchal. Reason enough for him to give it a try: The Whisper, designed in collaboration with Berret-Racoupeau, is the first model. Luxurious equipment and electric drive were a must. Marchal hides the associated 100 kW motors below deck and the solar panels, which provide unlimited range at a speed of 6 knots, in the roof construction.
