The aluminium twin-hull proudly bears the Blue Label, which is based on the Rossinavi philosophy of ultimate energy saving. There are three scenarios for the hybrid-electric drive: On day trips, the cat sails fully electrically, on multi-day cruises the mode can operate at 90 per cent, and on transatlantic voyages it can still operate at 80 per cent. The batteries are primarily powered by solar panels, but diesel generators can also be used to top up the energy storage. Shore power is also possible, so the charging process takes around five hours.
When "Seawolf X" is in harbour, hibernation mode kicks in: Consumption is reduced to the essentials and the energy generated is sufficient to supply shore objects with power, for example the owner's villa. The Rossinavi AI, an intelligent on-board system, helps with clean and economical cruising. The "brain" analyses the processes, learns from observation and predicts the usage behaviour of the guests. It also "talks" to the crew and provides a kind of instruction manual for the efficient operation of the superyacht. The AI software also monitors the fill level of the battery pack, as 20 to 80 per cent charge is ideal for the longest possible service life and durability.
Before Fulvio De Simoni's team got started, they threw all previous design concepts overboard. The result is a curvy silhouette with a flat profile, reminiscent of a sports car. Draught: 1.85 metres. The focus of life on board is on the outdoors: there is a cockpit with a Jacuzzi, a large sun deck for relaxing and a surprising bow area with a pool that can be transformed into a private amphitheatre if desired. The generous solar panels have been skilfully integrated into all kinds of surfaces, such as the cockpit roof. Even the anchor system fulfils the high visual standards and saves weight.
