The AMY 395e electric tender will make its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. The new model from the Italian Amare Group is available in two battery and motor variants. Depending on the version, the 3.95-metre-long tender can reach speeds of up to 25 knots and can accommodate five people. The boat is primarily designed for short transfers between yachts, harbours and the shore.

The AMY 395e is designed as a RIB tender. The boat combines a rigid hull with a wraparound inflatable body. According to the manufacturer, the hull is made of carbon fibre. However, with a dry weight of 340 kilograms, the boat is not a particularly light tender.

Two electric motors

Amare offers two powertrain options from Mitek for the AMY 395e. The standard version uses the Mitek Revolve 20 electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 15 kilowatt-hours. With one person on board, the tender is said to reach speeds of up to 20 knots. The ‘Long Range’ variant, powered by the Mitek Revolve 30, offers greater power and range. In this version, the battery capacity increases to 30 kilowatt-hours, and the top speed rises to up to 25 knots. At the same time, the dry weight increases to 430 kilograms.

Amare estimates a journey time of around one hour at high speed for both variants. For the long-range version, the manufacturer quotes a range of around 29 nautical miles at 25 knots. At 10 knots with two people on board, a range of 20 nautical miles is said to be possible. However, the actual range depends, amongst other things, on the load, wind, waves, currents and driving style. Anyone wishing to travel for longer must reduce their speed accordingly. The manufacturer’s documentation does not provide any details on charging time or the required charging infrastructure.

Fittings for use as a tender

To the Standard equipment These include a battery pack, a main battery switch and an LED charge indicator. The steering wheel can be folded away and adjusted for height. A digital display is integrated into ASW’s wireless control system.

The storage space is located in three compartments beneath the seats. The safety equipment supplied includes a fire extinguisher, a life jacket, a ladder, a paddle and a torch. It also includes lifting eyes, stainless steel handrails, mooring cleats, a hose repair kit and a foot pump.

Optional extras include, amongst other things, deck and underwater lighting, EVA flooring, a fresh-water shower, a GPS chartplotter, a depth sounder, a Bluetooth audio system, VHF radio and additional charging sockets.

Design ranges to choose from

Amare offers a wide range of customisation options for the AMY 395e. Among other things, customers can choose the colours and materials for the superstructure, the hull, the rubbing strake, the handrails, the steering wheel and the seat cushions. The yacht’s name and a logo can also be applied or embroidered onto the cushions. According to the manufacturer’s documentation, there are several pre-configured design schemes to choose from: the options range from light and neutral shades to blue, green and exposed carbon fibre finishes.
