Foiling boats are becoming more and more important. Due to their low water resistance, they offer unbeatable efficiency, which makes foil technology particularly interesting for electric boats. In addition, it is literally a "sublime experience" when the boat leaves the surface of the water and virtually floats over the waves.
Anyone who would like to try out a foiling electric boat for themselves is cordially invited to the BOOTE Foil Experience. In cooperation with the Candela importer Sealectric GmbH from Altenholz, we are offering our readers free test drives with a Candela C 8 both on Lake Constance, at the Ultramarin Boatshow on 17 and 18 May, and on the Baltic Sea, during the Ancora Yacht Festival in Neustadt from 23 to 25 May. In Neustadt, there is also the opportunity to try out so-called e-foil boards. The one-hour beginners' course, in which experienced instructors teach you how to e-foil, costs 50 euros.
