The electric drive from the current Porsche Macan not only makes Frauscher's open bowrider up to 45 knots fast, but also sustainable - at least locally.
As bowriders, i.e. boats with an open bow area, are practical but not everyone's cup of tea, the manufacturers are now presenting the Frauscher X Porsche Fantom in the closed version. While the drive technology with 400 kW maximum power, 170 kW continuous power, 100 kWh battery capacity and a DC charging capacity of more than 250 kW (AC 11kW) has not changed, the deck layout and the slip cabin are new. The latter is intended to provide overnight accommodation, while the closed foredeck and the rearrangement of the furniture adapt the boat's appearance to the wishes of the illustrious clientele.
Lutz Meschke, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and Member of the Executive Board for Finance and IT at Porsche AG, says: "Like our sports cars, the eFantom stands for an exclusive experience and exceptional performance. As an elegant day cruiser with an innovative, powerful drive, it sets new standards in the maritime world. We are continuing along this path together with Frauscher and the new 850 Fantom".
The boat can accommodate a maximum of seven passengers. An upholstered sunbathing area adjoins the bathing platform at the stern. Studio F. A. Porsche in Zell am See and Style Porsche in Weissach played a key role in the design of the cockpit. The first Frauscher X Porsche 850 Fantom, which will be presented in the water for the first time in Mallorca in a few weeks' time, is painted in the Porsche colour Oakgreen Metallic Neo and upholstered in truffle brown
