The new personal watercraft from Roxen Innovations is manufactured in a lightweight design and weighs 55 kg without battery. This makes the Personal Watercraft easy to transport. The manufacturer even recommends transporting it on the roof of a car.
The 5.5 kWh battery pack weighs 29 kg and can be conveniently transported in the boot. Practical: The battery pack can be quickly removed from the Watercraft, so you can get the vehicle ready to go again in no time with a second pack. Charging the battery takes between two and three hours at a 230 V socket. Propulsion is provided by a 22 kW electric motor, which accelerates the Roxen to a maximum of 30 knots according to the shipyard. The cruising speed is between 15 and 20 knots and Roxen Innovations specifies a range of up to 15 nautical miles.
To ensure high performance and operational safety, the motor and battery are water-cooled. Roxen Innovation placed particular emphasis on user-friendliness and safety in the design. The latter includes a hull construction with inflatable, removable "stabalising pontoons". The entire technology and production, including the development of the batteries, takes place in Sweden. The components come from Sweden and from European suppliers.
The fact that this is a technically sophisticated watercraft is also demonstrated by the so-called "geo-fencing technology", a function that allows you to define the travelling area of the personal watercraft. It also has a control unit that can exchange data via Wi-Fi and LTE/4G. An app can then be used to monitor performance or install new software, among other things.
The new personal watercraft from Roxen Innovation will celebrate its world premiere at "boot 2025" in Düsseldorf. The new product can be found in hall 4, stand A02.
