The agony of choice The drive has to be electric, that's for sure. Nevertheless, the buyer must first answer the question of faith when choosing the motorisation: Inboard or outboard? The Slovenian boat builders offer both. And with a maximum of 85 kW (115 hp). The highlight of the equipment is a hardtop that can be partially opened, is the ideal weather protection when raised hydraulically and completely closes the cockpit like a lid when in the down position. There is no better way to keep the steering console, the galley equipped with cool box, cooker and sink and the comfortable all-round sofa safe. If you're interested, the 21 Open is also available with combustion engines.

With the 800 Spyder, you sit in the front row The perfect workmanship of high-quality materials has always been and always will be the house style. However, it is the owner, who chooses the fittings, materials and colours, who determines how the finished boat looks in detail. Now the designers and boat builders from Lake Wolfgang have "made room" and given their flagship a new deck layout. This means that there are now comfortable deck chairs in the foredeck with direct access to the cockpit. In addition to the spaciousness, the electric drive, which is installed exclusively with shaft systems, is also impressive.

They can do it electrically too Internal combustion engines out, electric motors in. Equipping boats with electric inboards that allow them to glide quickly is the way forward for Italian boat builders. Christian Grande has designed a hull manufactured using the infusion process, which is already travelling quickly with the 50 kW electric inboard motor from Molabo. Those in a hurry can have the 80 kW motor installed by the specialists from Ottobrunn. Almost 70 or 109 hp? Always on board are the bathing platform and the sun lounger positioned directly in front of it, the centre console, which ensures ease of use and safe movement, the convertible top and sun canopy and comfortable, convertible cockpit furniture such as a large teak folding table.

Chill electric boat

Porsche, Ferrari, Bugatti and Silver Arrows send their regards The legendary racing cars of yesteryear are still regarded as design icons today. The fact is, the Swiss designers have been inspired by the automotive beauties of days gone by, but have consistently applied their own "language". The result: an interplay of retro style and minimalist elements of modernity. The electric drive - licence-free 3 to 6 kW (4 to 8.2 hp) motors - promises perfect deceleration. However, you can't go faster than 18 km/h (10 knots). The range depends on the battery capacity (5 or 10 kWh), the motor power and, last but not least, the speed travelled.

The Saildrive version with its Z-drive installed in the bottom of the boat is rated at 19 kW (26 hp) and a top speed of 10 knots. If you want to go faster, you have to have a conventional shaft system installed, in front of which engines with a maximum of 60 kW (82 hp) can be installed. There is no alternative to a bow thruster and the equipment with two sun loungers on the foredeck and in front of the bathing platform, biminitop, a wet bar with fridge and sink, pressurised water system and cockpit table. The slip cabin under the teak-covered foredeck offers space for two comfortable berths and a chemical toilet.

Kaebon EB One

Motorboating without noise and exhaust fumes And with perhaps the lightest electric boat in the world? One thing is certain, the designers and engineers from Munich are no dreamers. They consistently rely on carbon fibre and innovative production processes. All components are manufactured in sandwich construction from carbon fibre prepregs. This makes them "slim" and saves motor and battery power. Christoph Sieber has created a design with elegant lines and outstanding hydrodynamic properties. A 20 kW (27 hp) electric outboard motor is fitted as standard. The battery capacity should provide 1¼ hours of full-throttle pleasure.
