Marian Boats has been exclusively building Stromer boats since 2000. The boats are laminated by hand in the company's own Romanian production facility and the final outfitting takes place at the company's headquarters not far from Lake Wolfgang in Austria. The 7.90 metre long and 2.50 metre wide M800 is the current flagship and is now also available as a bowrider in the Spyder version.
The shape is classic, with a striking concave bow and an implied tumblehome at the stern. The modern hull lines with a deep V have been optimised for use with electric shaft drive and feature a full-length step. The drive train and control system are supplied by the Slovenian-Austrian provider Piktronik, and an online configurator determines the desired ratio of power and endurance. The 150-kilowatt motor in combination with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 125 kilowatt hours enables a maximum speed of 33 knots. The M800 Spyder is available from 238,560 euros.
Boote Marian was founded in 2000 by Ion Marian. Initially, the company specialised in repairing and servicing boats. Today, the focus is elsewhere: "Thanks to the craftsmanship and attention to detail in planning, a new cornerstone has been laid - the production of self-developed boats," as the website states. The shipyard is based in Austria.
