Visually, it appears to be anything but an explorer, but is aimed at a similarly adventurous clientele and goes back to the schooners that sailed out into the world from Holland in the 16th century. The long overhangs and the narrow transom conceal the 18 metre width and a volume of 4400 gross tonnes. "Art of Life" is intended to symbolise spaciousness, openness and freedom. The owner has a free choice of where to place his art collection thanks to the large wall surfaces. The Sinot team designed the beach and spa lounge on the aft lower deck to be open, with an indoor pool, sauna, seating area with a sandy floor and a retractable cinema screen almost ten metres wide. The very bright owner's suite above is spacious and offers exclusive access to the glass lounges in the transom and on the upper deck. Ten guests, accommodated in two VIP cabins and three double cabins, are served by a crew of 35. Three tenders of eight to twelve metres in length float out from the side of the hull. For captains who prefer to steer the "Art of Life" with a clear view, the designers realised a second helmstand on the fly.
