Royal van Lent launched the Michael Leach design in Kaag in the presence of the equally committed and experienced owners. They were keen on large entertainment and sports areas.

The owner couple commissioned Reymond Langton Design with the interior design of the 14.10 metre wide steel/aluminium displacement vessel, while the engineering firm De Voogt Naval Architects, part of the Feadship Group, carried out the naval architecture calculations for Project 814.

The interior highlight is likely to be an IMAX cinema with a five-metre-high screen spanning two decks. A retractable Bang & Olufsen screen converts the aft deck into a very special outdoor cinema when Project 814 is parked with the stern facing the beach and the crew serves popcorn ashore. The four VIP suites each have 8K televisions with a resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels, which is 16 times higher than Full HD models. Exercise seems to be just as important to the owners. There are sports facilities on board for golf, basketball, volleyball and football.

The helipad has a certified refuelling station and the port and starboard sides fold down in two places. The tender fleet should therefore be large. The Van Lent employees are covering the 93 metres with a tarpaulin for further outfitting work, including the lack of balconies and external steering positions. Final unveiling: spring 2019.
