The Italian shipyard launched the longest and probably most technically demanding of the three 100-metre-plus formats at 108 metres.

This was preceded by the launches of FB 277 (107 metres) in December and FB 272 (107.60 metres) in February. FB275 also differs visually. This time, the silhouette with its classic stern was not created by independent designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, who is very close to Benetti, but by the English studio Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD). No details are known about the interior - Benetti's own design department was in charge of the design concept.

With a width of 14.50 metres, the owner has 1000 square metres of outdoor space including an observation lounge on the top fifth deck and a 1.50 metre wide fireplace one deck below. A large pool on the main deck provides for cooling off. The crew stows two 14-metre tenders on the foredeck. Another ten-metre custom tender is parked in the garage on the lower deck together with up to eight jet skis. The toys are refuelled by a 1500 litre petrol tank. FB275 is equipped with five cranes and two hydraulic scissor lifts that can lift up to 15 tender tonnes.

Two MTU gensets, each with an output of 2880 kilowatts, allow the five-deck aircraft, which displaces 3600 tonnes, to reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. Up to four 465-kilowatt generators from Caterpillar act on the 500-kilowatt auxiliary jet propulsion system from Schottel. This enables short distances to be covered fully electrically and high manoeuvrability during harbour manoeuvres. Powerful 200-kilowatt thrusters from Rolls-Royce provide support at the bow. The hull appendages are completed by four stabilisation fins from Naiad.

Benetti CEO Franco Fusignani is dryly triumphant in his assessment of the giga push: "There are 18 superyachts over 100 metres in the world and four new ones are delivered every year. We have just completed three at once. That proves we can do it." The steel large yacht halls in Livorno, where Benetti welds all steel-aluminium formats, are now empty. The three gigas, which together weigh 12,800 tonnes, were worked on by 770 workers every day for a total of five million hours. Among other things, they laid 1,100,000 metres of cable. Benetti's Giga round is over. For the time being.
