Bering Yachts launched the Bering 88 in Antalya on 16 March 2026. The yacht, with a hull length of less than 24 metres, belongs to the Explorer category and, according to the manufacturer, is one of the shipyard's most sought-after models. The steel hull has a displacement of 225 tonnes when fully loaded. The yacht offers 256 square metres of living space, spread over a full-width master cabin, four guest cabins and accommodation for five crew members. The outdoor areas have been extended for open-air living.
The Bering 88 is powered by two Cummins QSM11 engines with 450 hp each. The cruising speed is 8.5 knots; the maximum speed at half load is 10.5 knots. The tank capacity of 39,755 litres enables ranges of over 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. The fresh water tank holds 2,962 litres. "This boat is fully equipped for long voyages - completely self-sufficient, with everything needed for weeks of independent living at sea without recourse to infrastructure on land," says Alexei Mikhailov, founder and CEO of Bering Yachts. The yacht is equally suitable for private use and charter operations, with well thought-out storage space and provisions capacity for true independence.
The yacht has a gross tonnage of 235 and can accommodate ten guests and five crew members. Kristina Güner, Creative Director at Bering Yachts, emphasises the team's ambition: "We believe that this is one of the strongest explorer yachts in the under 24 metre class. We have put all our expertise into this yacht to make it well thought-out, comfortable and logical for guests and crew." The result is a competitive boat full of intelligent solutions that make a real difference at sea.
The international brand Bering Yachts designs and builds semi-custom explorer yachts and luxury trawlers with steel hulls ranging in size from 20 to 50 metres, as well as catamarans made entirely of aluminium. The shipyard employs over 200 skilled workers at its modern shipbuilding facility in Antalya, Turkey. Steel construction, system redundancy and proven commercial-quality components are designed to make the yachts efficient, reliable and seaworthy.
