The Custom Line Navetta 35 extends the Italian shipyard's displacement line downwards. At 34.5 metres long and 7.7 metres wide, the yacht is positioned below the already established Navetta 38. The exterior design was created by Filippo Salvetti; the interior design was developed by the Milan office ACPV ARCHITECTS (Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel). The shipyard has commissioned the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, with the development. According to the manufacturer, the draught of 2.2 metres makes it possible to dock in shallow waters, for example in the Caribbean.
The ship is spread over three decks with a total of five guest cabins. The owner's cabin is located on the main deck. Four further cabins are located on the lower deck. One of these can be equipped with a Pullman bed. The crew areas offer space for up to six people. The captain has his own cabin with bathroom on the upper deck. Three further crew cabins with two bathrooms are located in the bow of the lower deck.
The connection between the decks is made exclusively via internal stairs. On the main deck, the shipyard has dispensed with an external staircase in the stern area. The main staircase in the saloon is located on the starboard side behind a mirrored surface. According to the shipyard, this solution creates a spacious, light-flooded corridor to the owner's cabin in the bow. The lower part of the staircase is only visible through a parapet. The absence of the external staircase increases the usable deck area.
The sun deck covers 58 square metres. The central area under the hardtop can be set up as a lounge or sky bar. There is a solarium in the bow and an optional spa pool can be installed in the stern. This is surrounded by sunbathing areas. The upper deck combines a 44 square metre cockpit area with a 23 square metre sky lounge. The cockpit contains a dining area for ten people and a full-width lounge. The sky lounge is fully glazed. In the bow of the upper deck, another lounge with sofas and solarium completes the offer.
The salons on the main and upper decks have floor-to-ceiling windows. Antonio Citterio designed the furniture as free-standing elements so as not to obstruct the view through the glazing. Sofas and armchairs do not require fixed cushions or backrests. The arrangement can be changed as required. According to the architect, this design is intended to promote the flow of light in the interior and strengthen the connection to the outside area.
ACPV ARCHITECTS developed three furnishing concepts. Light Mood works with light natural colours such as ivory, beige and caramel. Three-dimensional, white lacquered wooden panels are combined with textured fabrics. Contrast Chocolate Mood uses dark brown leather, bone china lacquers and Grigio Alpi stone surfaces. Contrast Oyster Mood combines light-coloured woods with dark leather and tone-on-tone fabrics. The Custom Line Atelier accompanies owners throughout the entire construction and design process for individualisation.
The Navetta 35 is equipped with two MAN V12 engines with 1,400 hp each as standard. According to the manufacturer, these should enable a range of up to 1,800 nautical miles in economy mode. Two CAT-C32 engines, each with 1,622 hp, are available as an option and are expected to reach a top speed of 16 knots (preliminary data). Two Sleipner fin stabilisers are included as standard for stabilisation. Seakeeper gyro stabilisers of the NG18 and NG26 models can be installed as an option.
The ship is prepared for the installation of an SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction). According to the shipyard, this reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by 70 per cent and complies with IMO Tier III regulations. According to the manufacturer, the engine room is generously dimensioned and allows easy access to the engines and main systems. The garage in the stern of the lower deck can accommodate a dinghy up to five metres in length and a jet ski.
