This is precisely why Stratos was launched, as a brand for yachts that can withstand even the harshest weather conditions. Apparently with success: the debut model of the company, which is based in Muiden and emerged from Lengers Yachts, was awarded the highest seaworthiness class (CE-A).
For example, the designers at Sea Level and the Bernd Weel design studio gave the 4.45 metre wide Dutch Build 50 a solid carbon hardtop. In addition, the windscreens of the helmstand run diagonally forwards from below and provide the best possible view. The 20-tonner is powered by two Volvo Penta D6 engines (either IPS 650 or 800) and the tank holds 2100 litres of diesel.
The opposite of the exterior look applies to the interior - everything appears soft, almost feminine, with all possible edges flattening out into gentle curves. It is also bright below deck, with plenty of daylight coming in through the wide windows. Customers have three interior styling options to choose from: Zen, Serene and Graphite, with the latter really playing through all facets from light to dark grey.
