Evo Yachts is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its first R4 model with a reinterpretation that offers more comfort without losing its sporty character. The new R4 Icone will celebrate its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025 and brings with it some remarkable innovations.

More space and well thought-out design

Compared to the previous model, the hull of the R4 Icone is around one metre longer. The straight stem, newly designed air intakes and large hull windows, which provide plenty of natural light in the interior, are striking. The main deck has an enclosed area under an aluminium hardtop, which is manufactured entirely in the shipyard.

The control unit is visually inspired by the car design. A large C-shaped seating area offers flexible usage options, as the backrest can be orientated both forwards and backwards. The driver's seat is height-adjustable, enabling an ergonomically optimised position. The living area has a table that can be converted into a double bed and a kitchenette. A so-called pantograph door (special hinged door with parallel movement) provides easy access to the outside area.

The rear platform and room layout of the Evo R4 Icone

A special feature is the XT platform at the stern, developed in collaboration with Besenzoni. It increases the usable area and brings the crew closer to the water, creating a kind of terrace with a sea view. This can be configured and furnished as required so that it can be used in different ways at different times of the day.

Below deck, there is a refrigerator and storage space as well as two large enclosed double cabins. The interior design conveys a warm atmosphere through the use of Alcantara, precious woods and various textured materials.

The boat is powered by two Volvo IPS 650 engines, each with 480 hp (353 kW). Like all Evo Yachts models, the R4 Icone can be customised in many details - both inside and out. The customisation options make it interesting for different user groups, from families to groups of friends and for different needs.

Evo R+ as second exhibition model

In addition to the R4 Icone, the stand of Evo Yachts also launched the R+ will be on display. Due to its size, this 18 metre long yacht is ideal for longer stays on board.

The angular black aluminium roof reinforces the striking silhouette. The helm station is completely surrounded by glass, with windows for natural ventilation. On the main deck, the living area offers a versatile lounge, a fully equipped galley and a dining table. On the lower deck there is a second galley with wine cabinet and refrigerator.

A special platform at the stern makes it easier to get into the water and launch and retrieve a dinghy or jet ski. Below deck, the R+ is characterised by clear, simple and angular lines. The spaces are fitted with high-quality materials and the colour palette harmoniously combines three colours and materials: white, teak and carbon.

The lower deck has three cabins, two bathrooms and a dining area as well as a crew cabin with separate access. The R+ is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines.
