With the 28.50 metre Extra 93, the ISA Yachts subsidiary is taking its own high-volume concept to the extreme.

Like all the extras, the fast GRP displacer comes from Francesco Guida's computer. With a width of 7.80 metres, the designer created considerable leeway in the interior, which he also designed. For comparison: the 29 metre long Pearl 95, a classic flybridge half-glider, comes in at 6.70 metres. Guida's width advantage is particularly evident in the owner's cabin on the forward main deck, which, according to Extra Yachts, is the widest in the category of yachts up to 30 metres in length. Three crew quarters and four guest accommodations are spread across the lower deck, two VIPs with free-standing beds and two cabins with two single beds each.

The Extra 93 is propelled by three Volvo Penta IPS units, each with 735 kilowatts, to a top speed of 18.5 knots. A 4.35 metre long tender is parked on the foredeck below the bridge. Extra Yachts is exhibiting the 93 together with the 86 and the 86 Fast at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Extra intends to complete the almost 40 metre long 130 Alloy for the Monaco Yacht Show.
