Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino from Nauta Yachts provided the styling specifications for the exterior and interior. Hydro Tec from Ovada in Italy provided the construction services. Ten guests are spread over four cabins on the aft lower deck. Six people can be accommodated in the three crew quarters at the front. The owners take the front main deck for themselves. The three-decker travels at speeds of up to 13.5 knots with two 533-kilowatt CAT gensets. Displacing 280 tonnes, the new steel/aluminium construction has a range of 5500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of nine knots. The "Mimi la Sardine" crew hoists the tender onto the upper deck, which then becomes a lounge. In just eight years, Cantiere delle Marche has worked its way up to become one of the largest manufacturers of robust explorer formats. Ten yachts with lengths between 31 and 43 metres are currently under construction in Ancona, which, according to the shipyard, corresponds to an 18.9 percent share of the current global explorer market.
