"SpaceCat" roll-out in Guangzhou, China
SilverYachts manufactured the 36-metre aluminium catamaran from Øino computers entirely in Guangzhou, China.

The 478 gross tonne motor cat is currently undergoing sea trials on the Pearl River, with delivery of the "SpaceCat" scheduled for August. The specifications state a top speed of 22 knots and a draught of just 1.82 metres. Due to the high market response, SilverYachts is already working on 22 and 24 metre long SilverCat models.

The shipyard founded by German entrepreneur Guido Krass in Western Australia builds the SilverCat line entirely in China. For "Globalfast", the recently sold 80-metre sister ship from "Bold", only the hull and superstructure were built there. The outfitting took place at the Henderson site.

Krass developed the catamaran line, like all Silver projects to date, together with the Monegasque star designer Espen Øino. The master suite extends over 37 square metres of the main deck, which is complemented by a small cabin. Guest accommodation is spread over one of the hulls and the upper deck. The 36-metre-long multihull scores points above all with its outdoor areas. On the main deck alone, 202 square metres are available - including the bow lounge and aft deck pool.
