OCEA is a shipyard based in Les Sables d'Olonne on the French Atlantic coast that is known for its robust commuter and express cruiser yachts. The new flagship concept, the 70-metre Commuter 230, is also inspired by the commuter yachts of the US East Coast, which brought their owners to the office in Manhattan in the 1920s and 1930s. The striking exterior styling of the Explorer comes from the Joubert-Nivelt design office, as is customary for OCEA. The 520-tonne four-deck vessel has a range of 6000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots. Broker: as-yachts.com
