Fleet increase at GL Yachtverglasung | ng
After two years of development, the glass professionals from Halstenbek in Schleswig-Holstein put the world's largest self-propelled glass assembly machine into operation.
The mobile system is GL Yachtverglasung's response to the increasing requirements for glass installation on large yachts. "With this device, we can install glass in dimensions from 2.5 to twelve metres in length and up to a pane weight of 5.5 tonnes," says plant manager Andreas Schipper.
