Jeddah Yacht Club is the name of the new centre for superyachts in Saudi Arabia's largest port city, Jeddah. It is the first marina in the Red Sea where large yachts up to 120 metres in length can moor. The berths filled up for the first time just in time for the Formula 1 debut on the neighbouring race track. At the beginning of December, 40 yachts arrived, including the 95-metre "O'Pari", Oceanco's 85-metre "Sunrays" and the 82-metre "RoMEA", which Abeking & Rasmussen delivered in 2015. From their top decks, guests enjoyed the best views of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Superyacht owners with a passion for Formula 1 won't have to wait long. The racing circus will be back in Jeddah from 25 to 27 March. The sail-shaped building of the local yacht club will then be located at the harbour entrance and the five-star hotel, which has already been completed, will open for business.
