The Galeon 420 Fly is based on the 400 Fly, but the shipyard has significantly refined its design. Large windows, plenty of glass in the superstructure and a sleek side profile characterise its appearance. The boat is 12.80 metres long and 4.25 metres wide.
More space in the cockpit
The aft cockpit features an L-shaped seating area with a folding table. There is also a wet bar. Particularly striking are the two side bulkheads, which can be folded outwards. This increases the width of the cockpit to 5.90 metres.
Together with the extended bathing platform, this creates a large area right at the water’s edge. At the same time, the passage from the stern to the bow remains unobstructed on both sides. There is also a large sun lounger in the foredeck.
Open-plan lounge
In the saloon, the Galeon combines the galley, dining area and lower helm station in a single open-plan space. On the starboard side there is a C-shaped seating area with a folding table, and opposite it is another sofa.
The galley is situated right next to it and is easily accessible from both the saloon and the cockpit. The lower helm is located at the bow on the starboard side and is fitted with a double seat. The large windows provide plenty of natural light and a good view of the outside.
Two cabins below deck
There are two cabins below deck. The owner’s cabin is situated amidships and spans the full width of the hull. As well as a double bed, it features storage space and an en-suite bathroom. The comparatively high ceiling is also designed to provide greater freedom of movement.
The second twin cabin is located in the bow and also has its own bathroom. This makes the 420 Fly ideal for both families and two couples who wish to travel together.
Plenty of space on the flybridge
The flybridge of the Galeon 420 Fly is also spacious and extends far aft. At its centre is a large seating area with a table. A wet bar and a barbecue are also included.
The upper helm is centrally positioned, offering a good all-round view. The flybridge thus serves as a separate lounge area without taking up any space in the cockpit below.
Two drive options
Galeon offers two engine options. The 420 Fly can be fitted with either DPI-Z drives or a conventional shaft drive.
According to the shipyard, the maximum engine output is two times 353 kilowatts, or a total of 480 PS. Buyers can therefore choose which propulsion system to use, depending on the intended area of operation and their own preferences.
