Galeon presents the 560 Fly with a revised interior design at boot Düsseldorf 2026. The new interior is the result of a collaboration with Studio Insitu & Partners.

The Galeon 560 Fly is a flybridge yacht with a length of 17.82 metres. The Polish company is presenting the model at boot Düsseldorf with a newly designed interior. The yacht belongs to the medium size class and offers space for up to 14 people on board. The width is 4.82 metres with the side balconies closed and increases to 6.87 metres when they are folded out. The model is approved in CE category B, which means that it is designed for sailing in coastal waters with wind forces of up to Beaufort 8 and wave heights of up to four metres.

New interior concept

The interior design is called the Ocean version in Mediterranean style. Galeon developed it together with Studio Insitu & Partners. The design is based on restrained colours and natural materials. Large windows provide daylight in all areas. Buyers can choose from various surfaces and materials. The main deck combines the saloon, dining area and galley into one open space without partitions.

Flybridge and outdoor areas

The flybridge is elevated above the main deck and offers several seating areas. Glass railings allow a clear view to the outside and make the area appear larger. The helm position is arranged so that the captain has an overview of all areas. Beach mode can be activated in the cockpit. This extends the side walls outwards and increases the usable area at the stern. The bathing platform is dimensioned for water sports, swimming and operating a dinghy.

Lower deck and cabins

Below deck there are three cabins for up to six guests. The owner's cabin stretches across the entire width of the ship and is located amidships. There is a VIP cabin in the bow and a guest cabin. Two bathrooms belong to the accommodation area. The shipyard states that the headroom, storage space and lighting are designed to allow longer stays on board.

Editor Test & Technology

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
