The Italian shipyard Invictus Yacht is expanding its TT series. At just under 17 metres in length, the new TT 550 model is the flagship and builds on the successful concept of the smaller TT 460. It is also designed as a typical Mediterranean boat. The focus is clearly on spacious outdoor areas and direct contact with the water. This is ensured, among other things, by fold-out side terraces in the cockpit, which significantly increase the usable area. The open aft deck offers plenty of space to relax. The backrest of the aft bench seat can be folded down to create a large sunbathing area.
A striking design feature is the slightly forward-sloping bow. It gives the boat dynamic lines. A feature that can be seen on several Invictus models. A sheltered passageway leads to the foredeck. There is another lounge area there, which can be covered with a sun awning during the day.
Below deck on the TT 550, designer Christian Grande has planned two cabins and two bathrooms. Depending on the customer's wishes, the owner's cabin can be positioned in the bow or amidships. As an option, the saloon on the lower deck can also be replaced by a third cabin or a galley. A separate crew cabin is also possible on request.
A double carbon fibre hardtop protects the dinette and galley in the cockpit as well as the steering position. The garage in the stern is designed so that it can be used without disturbing guests on the sunbed.
The Invictus TT 550 is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS engines. The most powerful version, the IPS950, delivers 725 hp (533 kW) each. Thanks to the forward-facing propellers and electronic control, the IPS drives are said to be particularly efficient and manoeuvrable.
The Invictus TT 550 will celebrate its world premiere together with the new ST 550 at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 9 to 14 September 2025. According to the shipyard, the two new flagships mark the beginning of a new era for Invictus Yacht. While the ST 550 has a more classic look, the TT 550 focuses on a sporty Mediterranean concept.
