The Kumbra 43 is the largest model produced by the Spanish shipyard Kumbra Yachts. Including the swimming platform, the boat measures 13.35 metres in overall length, with a waterline length of 11.99 metres. With a beam of 3.99 metres and a draught of 0.80 metres, the boat is designed to be manoeuvrable even in shallow waters, whilst its beam ensures stability.
Fuselage and propulsion system
The hull features two integrated steps, designed to improve performance in various sailing conditions. According to the shipyard, they reduce fuel consumption and speed up the transition to planing. When it comes to motorisation, buyers can choose between four propulsion options: inboard outboard engines, exposed outboard engines, inboard engines or shaft drive, with power outputs ranging from 850 to 1,200 PS. With the most powerful variant, the Kumbra 43 achieves a top speed of 42 knots, according to the manufacturer, whilst its cruising speed is 27 knots.
Deck layout and outdoor areas
The boat can accommodate up to 14 people. There are twin sun loungers at both the bow and stern, whilst the large swimming platform at the stern makes it easy to get in and out of the water. A hardtop with striking lines spans the cockpit area, and numerous windows in the structure allow daylight to flood into the interior. The layout of the sunbathing areas allows for relaxation both whilst underway and at anchor.
Interior design and cabins
Below deck there are two berths measuring 1.30 and 1.40 metres in width; the owner’s bed can be converted into a sofa. The bathroom features a washbasin and a separate shower. According to the shipyard, high-quality materials are used in the construction. A home automation system controls various functions via a networked system. This allows, for example, the lighting, air conditioning and entertainment systems to be operated centrally.
