With "Ace", Conrad Shipyard launched the largest yacht ever built in Poland. The order came from a Swiss owner.

The launch of the 44.30 metre-long steel and aluminium displacement vessel followed a construction period of just two years. "Ace" is a profoundly European project: Reymond Langton supplied the exterior design of the model, known as the C144S. The Franco-British studio had already collaborated with Conrad on "Viatoris" (issue 6/18), which also featured the characteristic "X" in the superstructure. M2 Atelier from Milan was responsible for the interior, while Diana Yacht Design from the Netherlands provided the construction services.

The layout is classic: the owner's suite is located on the forward main deck and four guest cabins are located one deck below. With two CAT diesel engines, each with an output of 500 kilowatts, "Ace" can reach speeds of up to 13 knots. At a speed of ten knots, the Diana engineers estimate the range at 4000 nautical miles. After delivery, up to ten guests can book their trip on "Ace" through the Luxury Charter Group.

Conrad Shipyard itself is a subsidiary of Marine Projects Ltd. which, among other things, welds metal hulls for northern European superyacht shipyards. In addition to stainless steel work, the Gdansk shipyard also specialises in interior fittings. The second construction number of the C144S, which is due to be launched in 2023, is currently being built in Conrad's halls.

The Polish shipyard also recently received an order from Frank Neubelt Yacht Designs to build a 40-metre motor sailer with modern lines. Welding work on the aluminium hull is scheduled to begin in spring 2023, and C-130 will appear with her painted carbon superstructure around two years later.
