"Madsummer" is for sale

No yacht of this size is usually "Madsummer" however, is a custom format that is special in many respects. Examples include the interior design, which is generally not characterised by colour restraint, with a multitude of silk carpets, an aft-facing owner's cabin, a parking space for the seaplane on the sundeck and a nine-metre pool, which Lürssen fitted with a glass bulwark - an illuminating measure that was a first in the shipyard's history.

The selling price of "Madsummer" is 229 million euros. A hefty price, considering that the interior may need some significant customisation. The "Octopus" delivered by Lürssen in 2003 is currently listed for an additional six million euros. The 126 metres debuted on the second-hand market 15 months ago at 295 million euros.
