The Italian designer with a background in architecture surprises with further creative ideas. For example, the upper deck, which overhangs far aft, stands on a central trapezoidal arch instead of pillars, which also supports the roof of the sundeck in a double version. On the foredeck, where the H of the helicopter landing pad often blocks one of the most beautiful places on board, the Italian has installed an elongated pool at right angles to the direction of travel. The helicopter lands on the sundeck next to a welcome area with a convertible roof. The flat superstructure does not require lifts, while a diesel-electric pod drive reduces noise levels and vibrations. Well thought-out detailed solutions make "Pentagramma" a thoroughly realisable project.
