The creative and construction departments of the Papenburg shipyard developed the 210 metre long project Two10, which is equipped with an atrium beach club and fuel cell propulsion.

Meyer Yachts is a brand of the Meyer cruise shipyard and is pushing into the gigayacht market with large concepts. Following last year's 150-metre One50, the Papenburg-based company has now unveiled Two10, a 210-metre project that also relies on sustainable propulsion solutions. And once again, the flat profile comes from Meyer's creative department, which paid particular attention to the atrium-like beach club. It includes a bar with a seemingly floating infinity pool above and folding side walls to the sides.

Fuel cells and battery systems will exclusively provide the energy for Two10's drive and hotel operations. Managing Director Jan Meyer explains: "We design our concepts in such a way that we can also realise them in this form. This makes our yachts technological pioneers from which many other types of ship and people will also benefit." In the future, eVTOLs could also land on the foredeck and be charged with green electricity generated on board. Behind it, Meyer Yachts has installed a tennis court that is fenced in by a fine-meshed net.

Meyer Werft's order books are still filled with passenger ships until 2025, including two luxury liners for 728 guests each. Meyer claims to be the first shipyard in the world to receive a cruise ship order since the outbreak of the pandemic. Let's hope that owners will soon also be interested in Two10 or One50.
