The Dutch company is working on two new 38 metre long steel and aluminium buildings based on the Van der Velden design Martinique 36m.

Two new builds are currently under construction at the shipyard in 's-Hertogenbosch, based on the 36 metre long original Martinique model "Brigadoon". Construction number YN201 will now be the first unit with a 1.50 metre long hydraulic bathing platform and will grow to an overall length of 37.80 metres.

In order to be able to position and weld the extension to the stern in the hall, the yacht builders moved the anthracite-coloured hull of the steel-aluminium displacer designed by René Van der Velden out into the fresh air for a short time. The interior of YN201 is being developed according to the specifications of Andreas Martin-Löf. At the same time, the Swedish architect is working on interior designs for a 110-foot sailboat being built at Baltic in Finland.

When Moonen delivers the fourth Martinique in early 2023, a 5.70 metre tender will be parked transversely on the rear lower deck. One year later, the fifth unit from the successful series is due to be launched, which will also be able to run at 16.5 knots at top speed and achieve a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a speed of ten knots.
