The Waterfront Marina advertises itself with a four megawatt charging network that supplies the shore power columns with up to 1000 amps. Internet access via WLAN and cable, water supply and collection and disposal systems for black and grey water are also available at every berth. To the east of the Amico halls, 15,000 square metres are available to owners and, above all, crews ashore. The infrastructure includes a lounge, conference rooms, kitchens, sanitary facilities, a laundry, various sports facilities and 100 parking spaces, 13 of which are reserved for electric cars.
Amico & Co, one of the leading centres in the Mediterranean for refit and repair work, wants to keep customers in Genoa beyond the service hours with the investment of six million euros. When the Waterfront Marina opened, Amico launched the "Genoa Superyacht Hub" initiative together with the local superyacht agency Pesto Sea Group. Among other things, the aim is to use a website to draw attention to the quality of the services, but also to the cultural advantages of the region. After all, Portofino and Cinque Terre are only a few nautical miles to the south-east. Genoa's professional yachting sector includes more than 50 companies with 500 direct employees that generate an annual turnover of more than 210 million euros.
