The 48.80 metre long "EIV" was presented to the public for the first time in Viareggio. The American market is of growing interest to the Italians.

With the sporty lines of the aluminium triple-decker, Enrico Gobbi's design ties in with the 15-metre shorter "Utopia IV", which he also designed and which Rossinavi handed over to a US owner in 2018. With the polished stainless steel slits on the stern, the Venetian designer references radiator grilles that are typical of sports coupés. Gobbi and his Team for Design also worked on the interior, which is described as contemporary-modern.

Rossinavi sourced the core electronic and mechanical elements from the USA and installed them in accordance with US standards. The home territory of "EIV" will extend across South Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. In keeping with this, the aluminium construction calculated by Arrabito Naval Architects has a draught of just 2.29 metres. Commenting on the importance of the US market, Rossinavi Managing Director Federico Rossi said: "'EIV' marks a turning point for Rossinavi. In view of the increasing and significant interest that the shipyard is experiencing in the American market, we are working more closely with US suppliers."

MTU twin diesels produce a total of 3878 kilowatts and accelerate the 48.80 metre long and 8.90 metre wide "EIV" to a top speed of 19 knots. With a full tank of fuel and a constant displacement speed of eleven knots, 3600 nautical miles can be travelled in one go.

Next year, Rossinavi will launch a 70-metre format, which will once again come from the computers of Enrico Gobbi.
