Lürssen launched one of the most striking projects of recent months with the 90 metre long and 14.70 metre wide construction number 1601.

The Kasko glided over the Helgen into the Kiel Canal at the Rendsburg shipyard in the classic manner. The shell shows an axe bow and the upper deck has a very special structure that has only been seen on the "Skat", which was delivered in 2001. As a result, speculation is already rife on the Internet that "Skat" owner Charles Simonyi has added 19 metres to the ship after 19 years.

As with "Skat", the Norwegian Espen Øino is responsible for the exterior design, while the Hamburg office Dölker + Voges has been engaged for the interior. Glückstadt-based Cornelsen & Partner is overseeing the construction process as project manager. The shell will now disappear into the floating dock until next year.
