At the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, OMAYA Yachts unveiled plans for the new OMAYA 53 – a 16.03-metre power catamaran offering plenty of space, comfort and flexibility.

With the OMAYA 53 The shipyard is continuing to pursue its ‘space-first’ philosophy. Rather than simply making the yacht longer, OMAYA has made targeted use of the additional length at the stern – with far-reaching changes to the overall design: the engine room and technical areas have been moved further aft, creating more space below deck for the cabins.

“We have further developed the features that owners appreciate about the OMAYA 50 – the spacious interiors, the comfort and the close connection to the water,” says Kaloyan Radulov, CEO of OMAYA Yachts.

Flexible aft deck and new swim platform design

At the heart of the OMAYA 53 is a spacious, flexible aft deck – with no fixed furniture, offering maximum freedom of layout. Whether you’re relaxing, dining, sunbathing or socialising, the deck adapts to your needs.

At the stern there is a swimming platform which can be positioned flush with the main deck, on the lower level or up to 0.5 metres below the water’s surface. With a load capacity of around 400 kilograms, the platform can also accommodate a tender or a jet ski.

Cabins and facilities

The owner’s version of the OMAYA 53 dedicates the entire port hull to the owner’s suite – featuring a spacious cabin and a freestanding bed facing the hull windows and the water. Two guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms occupy the starboard hull, and a separate skipper’s/crew cabin is also provided. A four-cabin configuration is available for the charter market – four identical guest suites with en-suite bathrooms.

Drive and performance

The OMAYA 53 is the brand’s first model designed for the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion system. The standard configuration features two D6 IPS400 engines, with more powerful options up to the D6 IPS650 planned. The target top speed is 23 knots, the cruising speed 15 knots, and the range 650 nautical miles (all figures subject to change).
