Royal Huisman relocated the 58.50 metre long aluminium construction from Vollenhove to Amsterdam and began sea trials.

The hull designed by Van Oossanen cut through moderate North Sea swell with its narrow bow and tomahawk-like stem - at 58.50 metres, "Phi" is the longest motor yacht under 500 gross tons and thus has a similarly high degree of slenderness as the sailing yachts that Royal Husiman usually builds.

Underway, further details of the Cor D. Rover lines could be recognised, such as the stern pool with raised mosaic floor and the rescue tender on the foredeck, which is required by the class. All other tenders will be outsourced to the 36-metre supply vessel "Phi Phantom", which was built by Alia Yachts in Turkey and is currently in the Italian port of Imperia. It remains to be seen whether the mother ship will make its way to the Mediterranean for the winter season or whether both will set off for the Caribbean.
