According to the British yacht builders, they wanted to create an alternative to the unusual boot Düsseldorf with their in-water trade fair at the Royal William Yard Marina - to show their customers, but also their own employees, recently completed yachts in a festive atmosphere.

The 25-metre semi-glider is the little sister of the Princess X95 (issue 1/21), which was also designed by the Olesinski engineers and Pininfarina designers. The X80 again relies on the "Superfly" concept. The "Super Flybridge" extends from the stern to the bow lounge, giving it 30 per cent more interior volume than traditional flybridge models. The bridge and skylounge are accessed exclusively via an internal staircase. The areas on the main and lower decks can be customised, and even a private owner'sundeck will be possible. A maximum of eight guests sleep on board.

The six metre wide X80 has a displacement of 70 tonnes when half loaded. Princess offers a choice of two twelve-cylinder MAN engines with 1213 or 1397 kilowatts of power. Up to 31 knots are possible with the large propulsion package.
