Racing drivers like it green

Sunreef has an excellent ambassador in ex-Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg. In his "second life", as he calls it himself, the German Finn is an influencer on behalf of e-mobility and specifically promotes the Polish catamaran shipyard's Eco line. Rosberg's father bought a Sunreef 80 three years ago, which he and his family often sail on. Now Nico Rosberg has tempted two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso with a 60 Sunreef Power Eco. In Monaco, the 40-year-old Spaniard and company founder Francis Lapp signed the order for an 18-metre-long power cat with electric motors, energy-saving air conditioning, a lightweight battery bank and large solar panels, both of which were developed in-house. Unlike Nico Rosberg, who retired from racing in 2016 after winning his first world championship at the age of 31, Alonso currently drives for Alpine.
