Sealine F46: The English boat builders turn an open into a flybridge yacht. The recipe: take a successful open, remove the vario-roof and put a flybridge with all the trimmings on the superstructure instead.

This is how Sealine turns the SC47 into an F46. Nothing is changed to the fuselage and the same engines and drives are used.

For the engine, you can choose between Volvo Penta with IPS drives or MerCruiser Cummins diesel with Zeus drives. These are also pod drives.

In contrast to IPS drives, the Zeus drives have integrated and automatically operating trim tabs, which help when starting up and also act as a protective shield.

If a drive hits an underwater obstacle, they tear off at a defined point and hit the metal trim tabs without touching or damaging the bottom of the boat.

Zeus drives have the same features as the Axius Z drives from MerCruiser and also have their electronics and controls, such as autopilot and skyhook.

This means that the F46 can be manoeuvred with centimetre precision in any desired direction using a joystick, making mooring and unmooring easy even for the less experienced and taking the fear out of these manoeuvres.
