The fact that birds of a feather flock together sometimes also applies to man and machine. With the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 (TFL), Conor McGregor has acquired an aggressive powerhouse. The 20-metre-long power format made of GRP (hull) and carbon (superstructure) is powered by surface drives and two MAN engines with 1471 kilowatts each and can reach a maximum speed of 63 knots. The cruising speed of the Italian-built 24-tonner is 41 (!) knots.
The Irish MMA fighter was one of the first customers for the hyperboat, which was limited to 63 units and was modelled on the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 by Centro Stile from Tecnomar and the car manufacturer from Sant'Agata Bolognese. Design borrowings from the classic Miura and Countach can also be found in the exterior of the "Lamborghini yacht". The seats and the start-stop switch in the ultra-modern cockpit were adopted one-to-one from the current super sports cars. The hexagon as a defining stylistic element appears in the owner's cabin at the front, for example as a hexagonal washbasin or porthole.
Conor McGregor, who became a multi-millionaire from the sale of his whiskey brand, is using his TFL with his family and is moored in Port Hercules during the Monaco Grand Prix. However, his wife is said to still own the 37-metre Sunseeker "Devocean".
He is one of the most successful and polarising MMA fighters in the history of the sport. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, McGregor began his career in mixed martial arts and quickly rose to become one of the biggest stars in the UFC. With his provocative demeanour and confidence, he was able to gather a large fan base around him. McGregor quickly became the first fighter in UFC history to simultaneously dominate two weight classes, featherweight and lightweight, by winning the titles in both classes.
