The Sunseeker 100 yacht
The customised superyacht from the south of England makes dreams come true. Both inside and out, the Sunseeker 100 radiates superior luxury.

There are very few names that describe the term performance yacht better than that of Sunseeker. The yacht builders from Poole literally always had to move fast. Dynamism was at the top of the to-do list not only for the technicians, but also in the design department. After many successful yachts, the company founded by Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969 changed hands nine years ago and became a member of the Chinese Dalian Wanda Group.

The "change of power" has not changed the philosophy of the yacht builders, but it has changed their model policy. Today, customised superyachts up to 40 m in length are an integral part of the range.

1300 nautical miles range - if you drive economically

How far can you get with 12800 litres of diesel? If you want to move a 94 tonne yacht at a cruising speed of 12 knots, around 1300 nautical miles according to the shipyard. Because Sunseeker owners generally want to make rapid progress, they have to shorten the distance to be travelled considerably. Power comes from fuel, and the two (each) 2640 hp diesels consume it to the full. In return, the V-16 engines equipped with conventional shaft drives promise a top speed of 30 knots. Which makes Sunseeker's 100 yacht anything but a lame duck.

This is a yacht in a class of its own. It goes without saying that the equipment and workmanship in this category are first class. Behind this distinction, the 30 metre long 100 yacht has a flybridge with access to the foredeck, which is the perfect sunbathing area with a seating area and "sunbathing lawn". Wetbar and a dinette are located behind the driving position on the fly. The main deck below offers space for an owner's suite with a view of the sea, a penthouse-style saloon where, in addition to the view, the furnishings with a dining table and a sofa landscape in large format are impressive.

If he wishes, the cook can become the sole entertainer in the fully equipped galley behind the stylish room divider. If you want to socialise, take the opportunity for public viewing and sunbathing in the open cockpit in front of the bathing platform, which serves as a "driveway" to the dinghy garage. The space below deck is shared by four cabins, which are furnished with bathrooms and double or movable single beds. The "staff department" remains in the foredeck, where you sleep in bunk beds and enjoy small bathrooms and a galley with dinette.
