The Dutch shipyard Thomasz Yachts is expanding its portfolio with a versatile motor yacht for discerning water sports enthusiasts. The new Thomasz 50 Sedan is designed as a year-round concept and is intended to provide owners with a pleasant life on board even in the cold season.

Year-round suitability in the focus of Thomasz

With a length of 14.98 metres and a width of 4.73 metres, the Thomasz 50 Sedan offers generous space. The low clearance height of 2.85 metres considerably extends the cruising area. Effective insulation, central heating and an efficient ventilation system ensure year-round usability. Panoramic windows made of heat-insulating glass ensure good visibility and energy efficiency at the same time.

The aft deck is separated from the saloon by sliding doors. An extended roof protects this area from the weather. There are sun loungers on the foredeck for warm days. Wide gangways and a low entrance make manoeuvring and getting on and off easier.

Comfortable interior with well thought-out room layout

The interior is dominated by a raised lounge seating area with good all-round visibility. The helm station is equipped with modern navigation technology. A panoramic sunroof lets in fresh air when required.

A fully equipped pantry with high-quality built-in appliances is provided for cooking. The dining area can also be used as a workplace. The owner's cabin in the bow is equipped with a double bed, which is accessible from both sides, and its own bathroom. Portholes provide daylight and can be darkened if required.

Drive and technical equipment of the Thomasz 50 Sedan

A 6-cylinder Deutz diesel engine with 170 hp (125 kW) powers the ship. Bow and stern thrusters facilitate precise manoeuvring. There is space for a washing machine under the aft deck. The stern can be optionally equipped with a multifunctional bathing platform. Anchor piles for anchoring in shallow water are also available on request. Solar panels integrated inconspicuously into the fixed roof provide the power supply. Interested parties can view the new model for the first time at the Motorboot Sneek trade fair from 11 to 13 April 2025.

Thomasz Yachts is a Dutch boat builder based in Sneek. The company specialises in the production of high-quality motor yachts. In addition to the new 50 Sedan, the current programme also includes the Thomasz 40 Cabrio and Thomasz 41 AC models.
