VanDutch expands its model portfolio further upwards following the takeover. The VanDutch 75 remains true to its Dutch roots, but shows Italian influence. The 22-metre flagship celebrates its premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

VanDutch is expanding its fleet of minimalist weekenders with a new flagship. Although it has grown to 22.18 metres in length and 5.80 metres in width, the design of the 75 remains true to the characteristic VanDutch style: long waterline, straight stem and a flat profile with an almost lavishly unobstructed deck. The brand is extremely popular with celebrities. Hardly any other brand knows how to stage its yachts so excellently in public with the help of stars. Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham and Leonardo DiCaprio are among the famous faces who have already basked in the sun on VanDutch yachts and caused quite a stir.

The consistent further development fits in with the new brand cosmos. VanDutch was founded in the Netherlands in 2008 and has been part of Cantiere del Pardo since 2020. VanDutch models were already made to order in Forlì, Italy, before the takeover. In turn, the new parent company, which also Pardo Yachts and the sailing brand Grand Soleil, was acquired by Oniverse in 2023. And the group built up by Sandro Veronesi includes brands such as Calzedonia and Intissimo.

Spacious cockpit for socialising

A new feature is the direct connection from the cockpit to the sheer foredeck. A door in the windscreen now leads to the bow. The 45 square metre cockpit offers plenty of space for relaxing and socialising. Two large sofas facing each other and two folding tables provide seating for up to ten people. The seats are covered with ribbed upholstery in the style of classic sports cars. A fully integrated outdoor kitchen with grill, two hobs, fridge and ice cube maker allows guests to be entertained on deck. A carbon fibre hardtop protects the lounge area without detracting from the sleek lines.

Two moods for the interior

As with the exterior, the BurdissoCapponi Yachts&Design studio was also involved in the interior design. It is characterised by fine materials, strong contrasts and refined textures. At the trade fair in Cannes, the VanDutch 75 will be presented in the "Cool" configuration: A bright, contemporary version with mother-of-pearl veneer, matt black wood accents and beige suede upholstery. A warmer "Smooth" version with mahogany elements is also available as an option.

The standard version offers three cabins. The owner's cabin is located on the starboard side aft, a double cabin on the port side. Both have their own bathrooms. In the bow is a bright and spacious VIP cabin with a double bathroom, which also serves as a day toilet. In the centre is a living area with an American-style open galley, lounge and dining table. A separate crew cabin in the stern rounds off the layout.

IPS trio for up to 40 knots top speed

The VanDutch 75 is powered by three Volvo Penta engines, with three IPS1050 units in the standard version. Three more powerful D13 IPS1350s are optionally fitted under the stern. This should enable speeds of up to 40 knots to be achieved. Other technical highlights include a lowerable bathing platform and a garage for the tender with an integrated launching and recovery system. The Dutch company Mulder Design is still responsible for the design.

The VanDutch 75 will be presented to the public for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
