The new Wajer 55 HT adds a hardtop model to the successful 55 series - a boat that offers plenty of luxury and comfort.

The Dutch shipyard Wajer Yachts presents the new Wajer 55 HT. The abbreviation HT stands for Hardtop and refers to the most striking feature of this yacht: a permanently installed top with a sliding roof that offers protection from the sun and rain when required.

Good weather protection

The new hardtop design of the Wajer 55 HT combines functionality with the elegant lines of the basic model. In contrast to the open version, the integrated sliding roof made of soft canvas material offers flexible weather protection. When the sun is shining or there is a sudden downpour, the roof can be closed quickly without having to interrupt the journey.

During development, the shipyard placed particular emphasis on ensuring that the characteristic silhouette of the yacht is not impaired by the hardtop. The roof blends harmoniously into the overall line and is barely noticeable visually. The design thus remains true to the brand's purist approach.

High ease of use

In the cockpit of the Wajer 55 HT, the focus is on comfort, design and safety. The instrument panel is equipped with high-resolution multifunctional displays that show all important sailing data. Thanks to the optimised arrangement of the controls, the skipper always has an overview of all the yacht's systems. The elevated position of the helm station also ensures excellent all-round visibility.

In the standard version, the Wajer 55 HT is powered by three Volvo Penta D6-IPS600 engines, each with 440 hp (324 kW). If you want more power, you can upgrade to the optional D6-IPS650 units with 480 hp (353 kW) each. The IPS system (Inboard Performance System) from Volvo Penta combines propulsion and steering and ensures better manoeuvrability than conventional shaft systems.

With the more powerful engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of 38 knots. The economical cruising speed is 28 knots. At this speed, the engines consume around 150 litres of fuel per hour. The 2,320 litre fuel tank enables a range of 390 nautical miles.
