De Vries pulled the largest Feadship ever out of the outfitting hall at the Makkum site.
At 110 metres, the striking Michael Leach design is nevertheless ten centimetres behind Oceanco's "Jubilee", the largest yacht ever built in Holland. Feadship's steel/aluminium displacement yacht bears the unmistakable signature of Michael Leach and Mark Smith from Michael Leach Design (MLD). The oval running through the main deck can already be found in the superstructure of the yachts designed by MLD. "Palladium" again.
